I am a native Italian Language teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. I am an Italian teacher, translator and interpreter. I have a B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Milan and Venice in Italy with Minors in German and Italian. I attended the Liceo Classico in my hometown in Italy, where I studied also Greek and Latin for 5 years. I am from Castelfranco Veneto, a small Medioeval town in the Veneto region, in Northern Italy near Venice. I moved to LA from Milano 22 years ago. I have been teaching Italian language, literature, art, history and culture to adults and children for over 20 years. I teach Italian in several schools in Los Angeles and I teach privately as well, in person and online. I taught at the Language Door, Pasadena Language School and Beverly Hills Institute. I collaborate with Fondazione Italia, an Italian language school financed by the Italian government. I tutor students at UCLA, USC, Harvard University, Harvard Westlake, Pacific Palisades High School, The Turning Point School, New Roads School and Windward School. My Skype students are from LA, SF, Palo Alto, San Diego, Ketchum in Idaho, Palm Springs, New York and Europe. I also tutor movie casts (actors, producers, directors and assistant directors) for TV series in Italian for HBO. Among my long time clients I have well known music producers, movie producers, CEO of Academy of Motion Picture, TV actors, movie actors, judges, businessmen, lawyers and fashion designers among others. I personalize my classes based on my clients’ level, needs, objectives and interests. I teach grammar through conversation making the learning process fun.
