I am from Venice, the “city on water” of Italy. I currently live in San Antonio Texas with my wife and my daughters. I am a certified Italian teacher. I am a graduate of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice with a degree in Italian philology and literature, I have a Masters in communication and publishing 2.0.
I have been teaching Italian for the last 5 years and Italian literature for over 7 years. I have a strong interest in teaching and scholarly research of Romance languages with a main specialization in the history of the Italian language. As well as holding university certificates, my private interests are always dedicated to the world of literature and general linguistics: I am a bibliophile and collector of first editions.
I also have a great interest in the translation of poetry and I translated some American authors such as Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gregory Corso and H.P. Lovecraft for some literary criticism journals.
