Hello. I was born in South Korea and received two bachelor’s degrees in mathematics education and business administration from Korea University in Seoul. I taught at several big language institutes at Kangnam in Seoul for 10 years after graduating University. I further continued my career by receiving a master’s degree in English and Literature from Hankook University of Foreign Studies. My curiosity to learn more languages had also brought to learn Japanese and Chinese, as well as the Korean Language Teacher Training Program at Ewha Woman University. I got married and came to Maryland, USA, in 2013. I lived with my husband, and took a several classes at Montgomery College while raising my son. I love language and music and hold the belief that language and music can make life more abundant and fun. I has a passion for teaching Korean and have been teaching Korean at New Hope Academy in Maryland and also, continued to pursue my passion by teaching Korean at LanguageBird.
