Hello! I was born and raised in a little town in Emilia Romagna, a region North of Italy. My main passion has always been travelling and learning about different cultures and languages. My first long-term experience abroad was when I was 15 – I spent a high school semester in Chile! Also, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Sciences with a focus on Intercultural Mediation from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), which including an academic year in Turkey attending the Ege University in Izmir. Upon graduation, I decided to become an au pair in the U.S. and here I (still) am! I currently work in the international education field and I used to be a teacher at the Italian Cultural Center in Minneapolis, where I worked with students age 3-17 to improve Italian language. I would love to keep teaching Italian as sharing my language and culture is an amazing way to feel a little less homesick – and of course, I love to teach. I am patient, flexible, determined and I have a large experience working with high school students from all over the world. I look forward to starting this adventure and helping you improve your Italian language skills!
