Dear parents and students, How are you? I hope everything is going well with you. I am a Virginia, Maryland and Illinois certified Chinese (Mandarin) and English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I was teaching at Chicago public school district, the Appoquinimink School District, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics Inc., Red Temple Christian Academy and other schools for Chinese, Japanese and ESL. I am also an adjunct instructor with Cecil College in Maryland. With ten years’ teaching experiences, I have taught students from preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school to the college level. I believe everybody can learn Chinese, Japanese or ESL. I love my student and I am a responsible, loving, caring teacher/instructor. I gained a variety of teaching experiences from kindergarten to college level. I use a variety of strategies to help my students to improve. their language skills. For example, I use songs, games, flash cards, TPR, communicative approach etc. to help my students. I am interested in teaching your children Chinese.
