My name is Tom and I am an IT Support Specialist for LanguageBird. I studied Management Information Systems at New York University. My IT roots grew in both the financial and education sectors for upwards of 15 several years providing support and customer service in Citigroup, New York University, Juilliard School, and Silvergate Bank. instructor and administrative positions.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and primarily growing up in Queens. I grew up with Croatian speaking at home and once I began school, English became another language spoken at home. In High School I learned conversational Spanish and have also assimilated some Polish language skills.

When I’m not doing anything IT, I do enjoy playing music — guitar, bass, drums and programming electronic music in my spare time. I am a beach bum on selected weekends with family and friends and enjoy cooking but not so much of doing the dishes!
