What Middle School Core Courses Offer
Designed for Middle Schoolers
The project-based curriculum covers foundational concepts and content that prepare students for high school language programs. Instruction is paced appropriately for middle school learners and includes age-appropriate content and activities.
A Foundation, Not a Substitute
Our middle school preparatory courses provide students with a foundation in their selected language. Students become more confident and better able to excel in their first year of high school language study.
These courses are not substitutes for high school language classes; however, many schools allow students with foundational knowledge to test out of lower-level courses.

Transcripts Available
Transcripts showing completed middle school courses can be requested and may be sent to middle schools and high schools. LanguageBird is accredited by WASC and Cognia.

Live, One-to-One Instruction
Your student works with a dedicated instructor. Lessons are personalized from day one, building real speaking skills alongside reading and writing.
Interest-Based, Project-Driven Curriculum
Students work on creative projects connected to their interests, such as travel vlogs, music exploration, or cultural deep-dives. When learning connects to what they care about, it sticks.
Flexible Scheduling
Lessons fit around school, activities, and family life. Morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend options available. Select the schedule that works from the start. Lessons may be canceled or rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice.
