Bonjour! I’m Amine — a native French speaker and multilingual educator with a passion for helping students connect with the French language and the many cultures that speak it.
I was born and raised in Lausanne, Switzerland, where French is part of daily life. Growing up in a multilingual country, I also learned German and English early on—an experience that sparked my love of languages and cross-cultural learning.
Professionally, I have spent over a decade working in international development across Europe, Africa, and North America. Along the way, I have always found ways to stay involved in education—from substitute teaching in Swiss public schools to tutoring students in the U.S. Today, I work with learners of all ages: children, teens, and adults looking to improve their French for school, travel, or professional goals.
In our sessions, I take a structured but flexible approach, adapting each lesson to your needs—whether you are preparing for an exam or building confidence in conversation. I especially enjoy helping students discover how language opens the door to better understanding the world speaking world.
Outside of teaching, I have a background in theater and music. I have performed on stage in Switzerland and now write electronic music with French lyrics, which sometimes finds its way into the classroom to keep things lively and engaging.
