Hello! My name is Chan. I’m a professional Korean teacher. I received my teaching certificate from Korea after earning a BA degree in Korean education. I’m passionate about teaching and learning foreign languages and cultures. I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. My teaching journey started when I lived in Arizona. I graduated from ASU with a master’s degree in film and media and a graduate certificate in literary translation studies. I currently live in Texas, and I have been teaching Korean courses at the university level since 2018. I joined LanguageBird in May 2022. I enjoy using my teaching skills to contribute to the exciting classes that happen every day at LanguageBird.
Fun fact: I am also an independent filmmaker. I usually spend my time with my family. In my free time, I like to travel and visit different cities. I’m excited to help you discover the Korean language and culture.
