Hello! My name is Evelina, and I am thrilled to share the Italian language and its rich culture with you!
Born and raised in Rome, my passion for languages began at a young age while studying English and Spanish. This early curiosity led me to earn a B.A. in Applied Cross-Language Communication from the University of Bologna, as well as a master’s degree in Journalism and Cultural Management.
My teaching journey has taken me from tutoring Italian and Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earning my Cambridge CELTA certification, where I had the wonderful experience of teaching Spanish-speaking learners. I have also worked in multilingual communication in Peru and Belgium, as well as for fintech companies in the U.S. and U.K.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me at the cinema or attending live music shows. I’m a big music fan, a beginner guitar player, and my absolute favorite band is The Strokes!
As a teacher, I am student-centered and enthusiastic, and I bring genuine Italian warmth to every class. I also love sharing cultural tips to help you start imagining your next trip to Italy!
