Hello! I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Japanese is my native language. After graduating from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies with a B.A. in Language Arts and Area Studies, I worked in human resources at a Japanese automobile company and as an office administrator at a Japanese college. I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2021 and started my teaching career. Currently, I teach elementary and middle school students at a local Japanese school.
I live in Wisconsin, USA with my husband and three children. Previously, I lived in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am patient, flexible, easygoing, and my strong point is multicultural understanding.
In my free time, I enjoy yoga, jogging, cooking, and watching soccer and basketball. On weekends, I cheer on my children at their soccer games. I look forward to seeing you and helping you improve your Japanese skills.
