Hello! My name is Tracy, and I am a Deaf American Sign Language educator from Texas.
ASL is the language I use every day and an important part of who I am. I have more than eight years of experience in education, a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a master’s degree in Deaf Education and Special Education. I currently teach ASL at the high school level and have also taught ASL at the college level.
I am a patient, encouraging, and interactive teacher who enjoys helping students feel comfortable and confident using ASL. I love making learning fun while also sharing Deaf culture and helping students understand that ASL is about more than just learning signs.
A few fun facts about me: I am a mom of four, and I love football, spending time with my family and pets, and creating videos. I enjoy bringing humor and real-life experiences into my lessons, and I am excited to get to know you and help you build your confidence in ASL!
