My name is Fabiola Teruel, and I am from Guatemala, Central America. After graduating from high school in Guatemala, I enrolled at Boise State University in Idaho, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Secondary Education. I taught Spanish in high school for three years, and then I came back to Guatemala to teach English in a private American school for six years.
Nowadays, I am a stay-at-home mom and an online Spanish instructor for LanguageBird.
My preferred method of teaching is the communicative approach. As a Spanish teacher, I love to create fun and interactive activities that allow students to practice the target language as much as possible. My main goal is to motivate students to use the language so they can communicate in real-life situations.
