Hello! My name is Lucia, and I am delighted to share my love of Spanish, culture, and meaningful communication with my students. As a native Spanish speaker and experienced educator, I have spent many years helping learners build confidence and discover that speaking a new language can be both achievable and enjoyable. My teaching experience includes working with high school students and adult learners, developing communicative lessons, and adapting instruction to meet different learning needs.
I am especially passionate about student-centered teaching, Comprehensible Input, and creating lessons that connect language learning to real-life situations. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and using the language for a real purpose.
One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each student as an individual. I enjoy creating lessons around their interests, goals, and personalities so that learning Spanish feels relevant, engaging, and personal. Outside of teaching, I love traveling, practicing yoga, staying active, creating content, and learning about different cultures.
I also enjoy meaningful conversations, a good cup of coffee, and occasionally reorganizing a room simply because I am convinced it could look better! I look forward to learning about your interests and making Spanish a meaningful part of your world!
