¡Hola! My name is Israel Bejar, and I’m excited to be your Spanish teacher at LanguageBird this year!
I am a native speaker with over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from elementary school through high school and beyond. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish K–12 Education with an ESOL endorsement. I have supported both young and adult learners in building strong language foundations through fun and interactive lessons.
I love bringing Spanish to life through online games, listening to music, cultural projects (such as Día de los Muertos), and real-life conversations. We might discuss topics like buying and selling a house, starting a business (such as an online clothing store or restaurant), or scaling a business into the Latin American market. Whether you’re just starting your Spanish journey or already speak Spanish at home, my goal is to help you feel confident and truly enjoy learning the language.
A fun fact about me: I’m a proud dad who loves traveling with my family and exploring new cultures through food, music, movies, and TV shows. You might catch me sharing stories from different Spanish-speaking countries, playing some of my favorite Latin songs, or showing a short clip from a movie or TV show during our lessons!
