Hi! My name is Viviane, and I’m originally from Brazil, currently living in South Carolina, United States. I’ve been teaching Portuguese since 2019, and I truly love helping people connect with the language and culture. I know how challenging learning a new language can be because English is my second language. I’m also currently studying Spanish and Italian, which helps me better understand my students and make lessons more supportive and enjoyable.

My goal is to create classes that are light, fun, and conversation-focused so students feel comfortable practicing and expressing themselves. I’m a very chatty person, and I love talking about culture, travel, pop culture, animals, and everyday life. Fun fact: I studied theater and even did an exchange program in Canada, which helped me fall even more in love with languages and different cultures! I’m excited to meet my students and help them feel confident speaking Portuguese.
