How to be successful taking a language course over the summer for your 2023-2024 transcript:
- Find out when your school needs to receive the final transcript (or grade sent by LanguageBird if your school is a Partner)
- Start in May or June to complete no later than July 31, 2024
- Review summer schedule for consistent days and times you are available to take sessions (please be sure to list availability by the hour. E.g. 4-9pm MWF, or Sat 5-6pm)
- Allow for 1-3 hours of homework, review and project planning per session
- Plan to request several schedule options for sessions for 2 to 3 times per week
- Process your summer enrollment at least 5 business days prior to your desired start date

Getting Started Info
- Once enrolled, you receive an email with student Microsoft credentials for Outlook (LanguageBird student email address) and Teams to be used for this enrollment.
- 3-5 business days prior to your requested start date you receive an instructor intro email (to student’s LanguageBird email) with Class Team link.
- Respond to instructor’s intro email as soon as possible to finalize the schedule through email.
- 48 hours before the first class, that you scheduled with your instructor, log into the Class Team to type in “Hello.”
- Attend session when scheduled and be on time, keeping in mind classroom expectations.
- Any cancellations must be emailed to the instructor at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled session.
