Hello! Привет!

I am Lyubov and I am a professional Russian language teacher. I am a native Russian language speaker, who also speaks English with near native proficiency. I have been on both sides: learning and teaching and understand the challenges any learner might face.

During my nearly 20-year teaching career, I have been sharing my knowledge of the language and the amazing culture of my home country of Russia with learners and have been loving it! My students are learners from diverse backgrounds, assorted language proficiency levels, and different native languages.

A little bit about myself:  After receiving my degree in linguistics form a pedagogical university in Russia, I started giving my first lessons of Russian as a second language and English lessons for children and adults along with working as a translator-interpreter and a tour guide in my beautiful home-town, Sochi. During my early career I quickly learned that a personalized approach is the key to students’ success!

After moving to the United States over 20 years ago I continued teaching Russian and English while bringing the amazing culture of Russia closer to anyone’s reach who was curious to dive into the bottomless ocean of the rich and mysterious Russian culture.
