Hi! My name is Andrea Wilson, and I’m an Admissions and Outreach Coordinator here at LanguageBird. A Seattle, WA local, I’ve been working with my local students, families, and schools in education settings since 2007, and I’m thrilled to be able to expand my reach – my passion is supporting all youth and their unique needs and advocating for their success. When I’m not helping get students started on their language learning journeys here at LanguageBird, I’m teaching and tutoring K-12 students one-on-one with a focus on those for whom traditional school settings are not as accessible. One-on-one, tailored education is a passion of mine from all angles!

I also speak French, and I’m hoping to learn Russian and American Sign Language in the future! Outside of education and youth advocacy, my passions include Star Trek, crochet, tea, books, and all things spooky. Fun fact: the mystery soda machine of Seattle is my favorite cryptid. (Look it up!)
