Shalom!

My name is Dmitry and my Hebrew name is Baruch! I live in Israel where I study in Jerusalem towards my Master’s and then PhD in Talmudic and Rabbinic sciences.

I spent 18 years living, working and studying in the USA, in many different states: Washington DC, Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, just to name a few.

I received my MA in Teaching Languages from Middlebury College, VT, where we focused on Proficiency or Communicative Language Teaching Approach. I’ve taught Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian and ESL on three continents and in many different countries.

I’ll be happy to help you get started and develop your love for the enigmatic and beautiful language of Hebrew – the language of ancient Jewish kings, prophets, priests and legendary warriors. You’ll learn Hebrew from someone that lives and breathes Israel, its culture and its 3300 year-long history on a day-to-day basis.

You’ll be the center of our learning experience, driving the class dynamics and getting immersed in all things Hebrew. Let’s have fun learning one of the most ancient and yet one of the most dynamic an living languages on Earth – the Modern Hebrew!
