Hello! My name is Erika. I come from Italy, and I was born in Potenza, in the center of southern Italy. I have a Bachelor’s in Foreign Languages and Translation from CIELS in Padova, and I am looking forward to starting a Master’s program that will enrich me and allow me to grow as a teacher. I am attentive and thoughtful; I am a patient and passionate teacher and an enthusiastic student. I love learning new languages, idioms, and cultures (I am studying Japanese and Turkish!). I believe communication is an essential and fundamental part of human life.

I have two years of teaching experience at a private school in Potenza as an English and Spanish teacher, and I used to teach Italian as a foreign language when I lived in Padova. Last year, I visited New York City and fell in love with it. I love traveling, reading, and having good times.
