Hi! I’m Katie, an ASL teacher from New Jersey, passionate about teaching American Sign Language (ASL) and sharing the rich culture of the Deaf community. I began learning ASL at 17 and have since dedicated myself to helping students of all ages develop ASL skills, build communication confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of Deaf culture.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in ASL/English Interpreting from Commonwealth University – Bloomsburg and have experience teaching students aged 3–17 in educational settings. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to connect ASL to real-life situations.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, traveling, and crafting, often incorporating these interests into creative ASL learning activities. My lessons are designed to help students learn ASL effectively, build confidence, and explore Deaf culture in a safe and supportive environment.
