i everyone! My name is Sherin Stephen. I was born and raised in India. I moved to Florida when I was 12 years old. I’m deaf and started using American Sign Language in middle school. Never stop learning, right?! I’m currently teaching online ASL classes and teaching ASL for hearing families with deaf children and professionals for 2 years. I enjoyed teaching them and they desperately learn about beautiful ASL and deaf culture because they want to make sure they can communicate with deaf children and others. ASL is a champ and beautiful language! I’m a fun person, friendly, easy to get along with, and love to help others! I can promise you that learning ASL will be a lot of fun. I look forward to working with each of you and meeting you very soon! 

Hello! My name is Sherin Stephen. This is my sign name.  I’m your ASL instructor. I’m really excited to be guiding your journey with you. I was born and raised in India. I moved to Florida when I was 12 years old. I graduated from Rochester institution of Technology and received my degree, majoring in information technology (IT). Eh, I didn’t like my major and wasn’t happy about it. Until I found my passion and motivation in teaching ASL! I’m enjoying teaching them. I’m currently teaching ASL online (ASL I, II, and III) for hearing families with deaf children or hard of hearing and professionals such as teachers, nurses, speech-language pathologists (SLP), doctors, or even police. They wanted to learn ASL to communicate with deaf clients and patients. They want to make sure to have access to communicate with deaf people. That’s really nice! ASL is beautiful and into it. I’m sure you’ll feel connected by learning ASL! I guarantee you’ll love this class. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you very soon. Bye!
