Hi everyone! My name is Sherin, and I was born and raised in India. I moved to Florida when I was 12 years old, and I’m so excited to be your ASL teacher. I’ve been teaching ASL for five years, both in person with children and online.

I’m passionate about teaching because I believe ASL is not only a language but also a beautiful way to connect with others and celebrate Deaf culture. Throughout our lessons, you’ll be encouraged to practice, and don’t worry if you make mistakes—that’s part of the learning process!

ASL is very visual, so be prepared to use your hands, facial expressions, and body language. Outside of teaching, I love to travel, cook international foods, visit hidden gems, and much more!

We’ll have a lot of fun together, and I’m excited to learn and grow with all of you in this class. Let’s make this a fun and inclusive learning experience. See you there!
