My name is Carey Deyton and I am the Educational Support Specialist for Partnerships.  I have dedicated my career to enhancing learning experiences in online environments and client support roles. I focus on cultivating a supportive atmosphere, using active listening techniques and creative problem-solving skills to ensure effective education for students. 

I hold an M.Ed. in Elementary Education and a BA in English from East Tennessee State University. With over 20 years in the education sector, my passion lies in facilitating student success through personalized educational strategies and individualized learning plans. I pride myself on providing comprehensive partner support and building strong relationships based on trust and effective communication. 

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, tackling home DIY projects, traveling, and searching for my next concert to attend. I live in upper East Tennessee with my husband, our two adult children, four cats, three guinea pigs, and one dog. I’ve traveled internationally to places like Mexico, Italy, and the Caribbean, and I hope to visit Ireland someday!
