Hello! My name is Tina and I’m delighted to be the Instructional Support Specialist here at LanguageBird. I was born and raised in a small town in the middle of Ireland, but I currently reside in Keego Harbor, Michigan. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the National University of Sligo, Ireland and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Nottingham, UK. I’m a keen traveller and have lived on four different continents so far!
My background is in international education settings, including working as an elementary school teacher in the Middle East for 12 years. During this time I had the privilege of working as a private tutor and mentor for a prominent Royal Family.

We have a common saying in Ireland, “Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí” which means, praise the young and they will flourish! This is a positive approach that I have always adopted when teaching and working with others and I am so excited to be part of the LanguageBird team.
