Hi there! My name is Diana and I’m from Colombia. I have a degree in teaching foreign languages and have been teaching for over a decade. The beauty of the Spanish language has taken me from the stunning landscapes of Colombia to the diverse classrooms of the United States where I taught middle school students. Along the way, I earned a master’s in teaching English as a Second Language.
Currently living in the US, my love of teaching and curiosity about different cultures fuel my pursuits in education. Soon I’ll be starting a new chapter in Madrid, Spain, where I’ll be pursuing a second master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a second language. Travels have given me deep insights into language instruction, allowing me to incorporate cultural nuances into my classes. These experiences have taught me that language is not merely a means of communication but a bridge that connects hearts and minds worldwide.
I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my cats. I have a deep appreciation for my native language and take pleasure in sharing my cultural insights with my students. As your Spanish teacher, I am excited to embark on this linguistic journey with you and share the beauty of one of the world’s most widely spoken languages.
Let’s discover the wonders of the Spanish language together!
