Hello, I am Hannah Chong, and I am so excited to teach the Korean language to you!
My career in education began teaching at a public elementary school in Korea for 18 years.

After moving to the US, I earned my teaching license in Virginia while teaching Korean online for Fairfax County Public Schools for 4 years. I also teach Korean online to high school students across the country through the NSLI-Y (State Department’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth) program and taught Korean to professional adults in the D.C. area at the Korean Culture Center in the nation’s capital. Most recently, I taught soldiers of the US military at the DLIFLC (Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center) in Monterey, California.

Having taught a wide range of people from very diverse backgrounds and demographics. I am able to work with anyone and find ways to cater to individual needs. I want to make class fun and engaging, and I am eager to help you speak Korean fluently and learn the culture.
