你好! I’m Yaxi, a native Chinese speaker. I earned my Chinese Pedagogy degree from Columbia University, and I teach Chinese language courses at all levels. Currently, I am teaching at Columbia University and City College of New York. I believe understanding students’ learning motivations is very helpful in education. I like to talk to students to find out their interests to remain sensitive to their unique needs. I have been teaching Chinese for seven years. I still feel excited and enthusiastic as the first day of my teaching career. Teaching Chinese makes me feel accomplished and fulfilled. When students are satisfied with my answers and tell me that they learn things from my classes, I know that I choose the right job.
