Hello! My name is Shuaipu (Sally), I am a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Research from the University of Tennessee. I received my master’s degree in communication management from Temple University, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Minzu University of China. During the time I pursued the Ph.D., I have received various awards and scholarships from the University of Tennessee. I have presented at international conferences such as AAACE and AERC multiple times. Besides, I published two conference proceedings. I also published several articles in academic journals and two Chinese books. Moreover, I served as a leader and translator for the Philadelphia Chinese Business Association for many years, bridging communication between the local Chinese and American communities in the police departments, courts, law firms, and immigration offices, etc. I have been a teacher for many years, instructing various subjects including Chinese, English, SAT math, GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL listening. For the Chinese classes, I always invent fun and effective educational games to enhance learning. I cultivate students’ Chinese language skills as well as creativity. My students always learn and have fun in my Chinese classes. I am very excited to join LanguageBird and teach Chinese classes for you. I am a very creative, caring, patient, and fun teacher.
