Minasan Konnichiwa!
My name is Miyuki Kovacs, you can call me K-sensei. I was born and raised in Kobe, Japan. (I love Kobe!) I studied English literature at Kobe Yamate Women’s College and earned a B.A. from California State University, Bakersfield, majoring in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. Also, later on I acquired M.A in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne.
I like listening to Japanese songs, watching Japanese TV/dramas, and eating Japanese food! I have been living in the United States for almost 28 years and I love this country, but I still enjoy being surrounded by fun Japanese culture.
I also enjoy working as a Japanese instructor and I am passionate about helping you learn to read, write, and of course speak the Japanese language. I am looking forward to meeting with you all!
